Enjoy time with your child learning a new craft. You will make three decorations between you, out of stoneware ceramic clay. Using silicon and rubber stamps you can choose wording and images from a massive array of stamps to personalise your decorations. During the workshop you will choose what colour you'd like your makes glazed. The drying, glazing, and firing process takes place after the workshop, and your makes will be ready for you to collect from Lark 2-3 weeks later, in time for Xmas!

In this workshop I will lead you through making your own house shaped plaque out of stoneware ceramic clay, measuring about 17cm high and perfect for hanging on your wall. After learning how to shape and smooth the clay, you will use a multitude of stamps to imprint words and images to make your little house truly your own. You can put names, dates or short phrases on your house using a variety of font sizes. During the workshop you will choose what colour you'd like your house glazed.

For my first workshop at The Craft Cwtch we will be making a pair of love birds. You will make two birds each, out of stoneware ceramic clay. Using silicon and rubber stamps you can choose wording and images from a massive array of stamps to personalise your little birds. During the workshop you will choose what colour you'd like your birds glazed. The drying, glazing, and firing process takes place after the workshop, and your birds will be ready for you to collect approximately 2-3 weeks later

National Trust Dinefwr Fair
Join us for a warm festive welcome at the Christmas fair in Newton House. See the Christmas tree in the Outer Hall and take in the display of sustainable Christmas decorations themed around the ‘Creatures of Dinefwr’. Explore the decorated house and relax with a warm glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate as you listen to carol singers, choirs or a brass band. The front of Newton House will have a variety of festive stalls selling a range of wares from handmade jewellery to tasty preserves.
